BOOKING YOUR OWN ACCOMMODATION

With hundreds of people travelling to the Llangollen Eisteddfod we advise you to book your accommodation as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Click here for a list of hotel accommodation within a 45mile (72.4 km) radius of the Eisteddfod ground.  Also, the following contact details for local tourist information centres may be useful. They will be able to help you identify and book suitable accommodation and provide information on local bus companies:-

Alternatively, you can book your Hotel or Hostel bed and breakfast accommodation and daily transfers to and from the Eisteddfod ground through our Overseas Liaison Team.

The accommodation is provided on a bed and breakfast basis and the prices below are based on a minimum of two persons sharing a twin/double room; single room supplements will apply.  Please note, this accommodation is limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  The price quoted also includes daily transfers to and from the Eisteddfod ground and your accommodation and free entry onto the Eisteddfod ground Wednesday 3 July – Saturday 6 July 2024.  In addition, group members will receive free entry into the Evening Concerts on Wednesday 3 and Saturday 6 July.

Hotel and Daily Transfer Package: £80 per group member or soloist, per night.

Hostel and Daily Transfer Package: £65 per group member or soloist, per night.

ACCOMMODATION IMPORTANT NOTES:

• These accommodation packages are open to all participants selected to take part in the Eisteddfod, including groups of competitors and non-competitors from the UK and overseas. In order to secure your accommodation and daily transfer bookings we will require a 25% deposit, which is non-refundable and payable by the 1^st March 2024. Please note, failure to pay the deposit by the specified date will result in the Eisteddfod being unable to secure the groups accommodation booking.
• The Eisteddfod field is only open to competitors from Wednesday – Saturday inclusive. Performers who arrive in Llangollen prior to Tuesday 2^nd July will not be able to come onto the field until we officially open on the evening of Tuesday 2^nd Similarly, entrance to the field on Sunday 7^th July requires payment for entry.
• Packages do not include airport transfers to and from Llangollen. We can obtain an estimate of the additional cost for an airport transfer and book this for you if required. As an example, the cost from London Heathrow Llangollen was £2,150 for a 50-seater coach in 2023.
• Bursaries: The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod believes that fees/cost must not be a disincentive for groups to consider applying. With this in mind, we are offering small grants from our bursary fund to support groups from every background. If you are accepted at the selection process we want to make sure that you have the best opportunity to take part in the Eisteddfod regardless of your financial circumstances
