B1. International Voice of the Future (Prelim: Thursday 9 July & Final: Friday 10 July 2015)
This competition is open to anyone under the age of 28. All competitors must be under 28 on day of competition. This prestigious prize is intended to advance the career of a young soloist. The competition will be held over two days. All competitors must use the eisteddfod official accompanists for this competition. For the preliminary round competitors are required to submit a contrasting programme of up to 8 min of music (Oratorio/Opera/Lieder/Song). All music should be sung in the original language. For the Final competitors are required to submit a contrasting programme of up to 12 minutes of music.
Prize: International Medal and £1500 (and an opportunity to perform in International concerts in the Eisteddfod)
B2. International Voice of Musical Theatre (Prelim: Wednesday 8 July & Final: Thursday 9 July 2015)
This competition is open to anyone under the age of 28. All competitors must be under 28 on day of competition. This prestigious prize is intended to advance the career of a young musical theatre performer. The competition will be held over two days with the final including a band. All competitors must use the eisteddfod official accompanists for this competition. For the preliminary round competitors are required to perform two contrasting musical theatre songs within 8 minutes. All music should be sung in the original language. For the Final competitors are required to submit a contrasting programme of up to 12 minutes of music.
Prize: International Medal and £1500
B3. International Young Musician (Prelim: Tuesday 7 July & Final: Wednesday 8 July 2015)
This competition is open to anyone under the age of 25. All competitors must be under 25 on day of competition. This prestigious prize is intended to advance the career of a young musician. The competition will be held over two days. Competitors may use their own accompanists for this competition. For the preliminary round competitors are required to submit a contrasting programme of up to 8 min of music. For the Final competitors are required to submit a contrasting programme of up to 12 minutes of music.
Prize: International Medal and £1500
B4. Open Folk Solo (Vocal) (Wednesday 8 July 2015)
Singers should present an appropriate programme representative of a local or regional tradition. Accompaniment (not provided by the Eisteddfod) is allowed for one item only. The total duration of the performance must not exceed 6 minutes.
Prizes: 1st: International Medal and £80, 2nd: £50, 3rd: £30
B5. Open Folk Solo (Instrumental) (Friday 10 July 2015)
Instrumentalists should present an appropriate programme representative of a local or regional tradition. Accompaniment (not provided by the Eisteddfod) is allowed for one item only. The total duration of the performance must not exceed 6 minutes.

Each soloist is required to forward the following by the 6 March 2015:
- A completed solo application form
- A recent (within 6 months) CD OR DVD Recording which is suitable for the competition that you are applying.
- B1, B2 and B3 £20 Entry Fee per Competitor (Non-refundable)
- B4 and B5 £10 Entry Fee per Competitor (Non-refundable)
